To see past the ordinary & mundane and to notice what might otherwise be invisible is the root of creativity.

The object isn’t to make art, it’s to be in that wonderful state which makes art inevitable.

Art is subjective; it’s a question of passion. The majority may not accept something but as long as there are some who do, the existence of that thing, whatever it may be, is protected.

Hibiscus. Spring. Crimson. Symbols of new beginnings and fresh emotions. Change can occur at any moment; you just need to be present. It’s quite literally in your hands.

The visual zine comprises of a curated selection of photos united by a shared theme, Here and now. This issue pays homage to the artists who take their time to craft their art and take conscious creative decisions.Embracing the slow life is a deeply personal journey that invites us to re-evaluate our values, reassess our priorities, and make intentional choices about how we want to live.Rather than constantly rushing ahead to the next task or milestone, we learn to pause, breathe, and fully immerse ourselves in the here and now. The slow process of art serves as a powerful example of the importance of taking the time to cultivate creativity, to nurture our imaginations, and to savour the beauty of the creative journey. One of the most beautiful aspects of art is its ability to capture the essence of human emotion, experience, and imagination. By celebrating this process, we not only honour the artists and their work but also reaffirm the enduring power of art to inspire, uplift, and unite us as human beings.
