Butter Brews is a neighbourhood café known for comfort bites, artisanal coffees and teas, fresh bakes, and most importantly good vibes. A place that simply feels good, every single day.
Founded in early 2018 on SB Road as a side hustle by Harsh Agarwal and Umang Bhimrajka, the brand found its true footing post-COVID in 2022 after moving to Koregaon Park. Today, their hospitality group runs three brands, six outlets, and a centralised bakehouse. Butter Brews’ third outlet in Aundh is set to open by the end of January.
What started as a simple bagel-and-coffee spot on SB Road evolved naturally over time. With gyms nearby and a growing community asking for more, the menu expanded to include salads, wholesome bowls, and nourishing plates, while staying true to one core idea: everything had to *feel good*, comforting and uplifting.
What began as a coffee shop is now an all-day kitchen and on its way to becoming Pune’s first true multi-roaster café with the launch of its third outlet.

At present, Butter Brews already operates as a multi-roaster café: using house beans for espresso, single-estate beans from Baarbara & MS Estate, and guest roasters like Tulum Coffee Roasters and Ground Zero Coffee Roasters, very much an if-you-know-you-know scene. With the third outlet, this vision expands to include many more roasters and collaborations with fellow coffee enthusiasts.
